While rice boiled and kau kau (sweet potato) was being prepared, the visitors spoke to the friends, with many questions coming forth as the evening progressed. After a night spent sleeping on bamboo beds, the party arose at sunrise to begin their homeward trek. This view shows Masaaki Ushibata with Tony Voykovic and the bearers leaving Urimo village. |
