Caption Bahá’ís and friends in the Washington, D.C. area at a “surprise” party in the Washington Center on November 27, 1966. The gathering was in honor of Prof. Stanwood Cobb who spoke movingly of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and of his personal experiences in meeting Him. A telegram of greeting from the National Spiritual Assembly was read and tribute paid to Prof. Cobb’s years of distinguished service to the Faith through his lectures and the many publications which he has written.
