Caption | Slide 010 - The Paramaribo Bahá'ís received us with open arms, and we met with them a number of times. In this small gathering we counted eight people who, between them, had served almost ninety years as pioneers in places as far away as Africa, Europe, North and South America. The oldest of these, standing on the extreme left, wearing a white shirt, is a German pioneer of twenty-two years' standing, a Knight of Bahá'u'lláh for French Guiana where he went in 1953 to teach the Faith. |
