File info[edit]
| Caption | Sasan Taqva - pictured in May 2009, 18 months into his four-year imprisonment in a Ministry of Intelligence detention center in Shiraz. Throughout his imprisonment, Mr. Taqva suffered severe pain from a leg injury, sustained in a car accident, and sciatic and muscle weakness caused by the lack of basic facilities. Daily exercise and access to fresh air was limited to 30 minutes each day when he was taken - blindfolded - not outside, but to a room that had no roof. |
