Caption On April 25, a sunny afternoon during the rainy season, the brand new road leading to the Bahá'í House of Worship in Panama City was officially inaugurated as Bahá'ís, their friends and guests gathered for the ceremony. At 2:15 p.m. Counsellor Ruth Pringle cut a green ribbon held across the entrance to the road by two lovely children (a boy and girl) dressed in their colorful Panamanian costumes. The ribbon-cutting was followed by a devotional service at the House of Worship, enhanced by the presence of the Bahá'í Choir, and a brief statement about the Faith and its principles with emphasis on the promise of peace by Oscar Torres, a member of the National Spiritual Assembly of Panama. Copies of 'The Promise of World Peace' were then distributed to the guests.
