The National Spiritual Assembly of Vietnam celebrated Ridvan at its National Center in Saigon. A thousand Baha'is were present, as well as religious and civic leaders. Le Loc, chairman of the National Spiritual Assembly, spoke at length on the Baha'i Faith and the program concluded with a motion picture of Baha'i activities throughout the world. Three newspapers, The Saigon Daily News, The Saigon Post and Le Vietnam Nouveau, carried articles and pictures on the Baha'i Ridvan and the event was reported on national radio and television.
