Caption Mrs. Marguerite Sears (right) helps to plant two trees at the grave site of the Hand of the Cause Martha Root at the Nuuanu Cemetery in Honolulu. Standing next to Mrs. Sears is Tracy Hamilton, chairman of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the Hawaiian Islands. The trees were planted by the Hawaiian Bahá’í community during a visit to Hawaii by the Hand of the Cause of God William Sears in December 1976 to speak at the Bahá’í Winter School and take part in the 75th anniversary observance of the Bahá’í Faith in Hawaii.
