Caption Mr. Samandarí is shown above cutting the ribbons of the walkway leading to the new Hazíratu'l-Quds in Shiraoi on the island of Hokkaido, Japan. Mr. Moritake (with beard) is the first Bahá'í of Ainu ancestry who enrolled several years ago. Since that time the Faith has developed steadily in Hokkaido.
