Caption Knight of Bahá' u' lláh Elizabeth Stamp was the first Bahá'í pioneer on St. Helena. She stayed at her post throughout the Ten Year Crusade, before returning to the United States for reasons of health. Mrs. Stamp died in Connecticut in 1970.
