Caption | The Fellowship House (above) and the Inn (below), at Green Acre, Eliot, Maine. The Green Acre conferences were started by Miss Sarah Farmer, just after the Parliament of Religions at the World's Fair in Chicago, in 1893. Miss Farmer later became a Bahá’í, visiting Acre in 1900. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá spoke at Green Acre a number of times when he was in America, in 1912. |
