Caption Dr. Minda Pamate takes a skin sample for laboratory analysis by the Department of Health during a three-day Bahá'í-sponsored medical clinic sponsored last Naw-Rúz by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Philippines at Tapi-Nabiran, Mindoro Oriental. During the clinic, some 300 Mangyan people were treated by two physicians, marking the first time that doctors had ever brought medical aid to the Mangyan area.
