Caption Dr. Dorothy Nelson, head of the delegation, from the United States. Dr. Nelson is Treasurer of the National Spiritual Assembly of the United States. She is a lawyer and is currently a professor of law in the University of Southern California's Faculty of Law. She was also the first woman dean of an accredited law school in the United States. In 1975 she published Judicial Administration and the Administration of Justice. In 1969 she was chosen "Woman of the Year" by the Los Angeles Times. Married to Judge James Nelson of California, and the mother of two children, Dr. Nelson is an example of a woman's ability to have a well rounded career.
