Caption Nearly a hundred Bahá'ís from Malaysia and Thailand attended the summer school at the seaside resort of Samila Beach, Songkhla, South Thailand, sponsored by the National Assemblies of Thailand and Malaysia. The Mayor of Songkhla officially welcomed the Bahá'ís with best wishes for success in their efforts to bring unity. The Mayor appears in the center of the photo, flanked by Mrs. Shirin Fozdar of the National Assembly of Thailand and E. A. Fernandez of the National Assembly of Malaysia who was also Principal of the summer school. The two National Assemblies feel the school will be very effective in the development of the Faith in the border area.
