Caption Bahá'ís in Nigeria celebrated Naw-Rúz with a football (soccer) match as the 'Brilliant Stars' of Ibadan, Oyo State, hosted the 'Bahá'í Peace Makers' from Bendel State. The referee (center, holding ball) was Dr. Akanni Bankole, a Bahá'í who operates a veterinary clinic in Ibadan. About 300 people watched the 'friendly match,' publicity for which included 60 posters, and many youth were attracted to the Faith when the teams were organized. Team members included Bahá'ís, Christians and Muslims.
