Caption 'Emergence from Obscurity' was the theme of a Bahá'í Winter School held last December 29-January 2 in Taiwan. The principal speaker was Saeid Khadivian, chairman of the National Spiritual Assembly of Taiwan. The school was honored by the presence of Counsellor Ruhullah Momtazi who addressed the gathering several times. Topics included Chinese culture, basic principles of the Faith, marriage, and Islam. The 130 Bahá'ís who attended were from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Africa and the United States. During the sessions, three people declared their belief in Bahá'u'lláh.
