File info[edit]
Caption | Aura Sanchez, the first Bahá’í in Colombia, South America, who declared her belief in Bahá’u’lláh some 50 years ago after hearing of the Faith from an American who was in that country. Mrs. Sanchez taught the Faith to her family, all of whom have become dedicated Bahá’ís. She has donated her home in Bogota as the National Bahá’í Center, reserving only a small part of it for her own living quarters. Mrs. Sanchez was visited last year by Joseph and Natalie Reyes, Bahá’ís who traveled to Colombia from Chicago, Illinois. |
