Caption Amatul-Bahá Ruḥíyyih Khánum, assisted by architect Faríburz Sahbá, lays the cornerstone of the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent. The ceremony on October 17 took place immediately following the close of the Asian Bahá’í Women’s Conference. Inauguration of construction of the House of Worship is one of the goals of the Five Year Plan in India.
