The Seventh National Convention of the Baha'is of Vietnam opened on April 30, 1971 in Saigon. It was attended by 103 delegates, 400 of the friends throughout the country, Counsellor Yankee Leong, and Board member Nguyen Van Loi. The Convention was presided over by Mr. Le Loc, Chairman of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Vietnam (seated to the right of Mr. Yankee Leong).
